Elizabeth was probably born around 1805 in Lancaster county. She was first married to William Jefferson. After his death Elizabeth married Michael W. George on December 26th, 1827 - she was his second wife. They had three sons; Zamoth, William and Michael.
In 1829 Elizabeth received her dower from the estate of William Jefferson. Her share of the personal property came to $25. The document also noted the land of William Jefferson was compromised of about 27 acres "with a pretty good house", and noted that the house was currently rented from the estate by Michael W. George, her current husband. It was ordered that Michael continue paying 2/3 of the rent to the orphans of William Jefferson.
The 1830 census shows Michael W. George as the head of a family in Lancaster County. Household members are; two males under 5, one male 30-39, one female 5-9, one female 15-19 and one female 30-39. This would seem to indicate that the two girls were the orphans of William Jefferson.
Elizabeth died sometime before August 17th, 1836 - when Michael married Judith D. George. Her burial location is unknown.
