Sarah was mentioned in her mother's will as Sarah Fallin, which was proven September 8th, 1766. Charles wrote a will on February 1st, 1773 and it was proven in Northumberland County court on October 11th, 1773. Sarah appears to still be living at that time, she is referenced in the will several times but not mentioned by name:
Wife-the use of a parcel of land during her life beginning at the mouth of a branch in "Popes Swamp," running up the said branch in the old pasture to a spring commonly called "Judah Spring,"...and at her death to my son John Hobson Fallin.Remainder of my land to my wife during her life, and at her death to go to my son William Fallin and his heirs.
Rest of my estate to wife during her life, and at her death to be equally divided between my son William Fallin, John H. Fallin, Sarah Fallin, and Elizabeth Fallin, and my son William to have first choice.
Wife and executors may sell what part of my estate they please for the maintenance of my family.
After death of my wife, my brother in law John Downing, and my sister Hannah Downing, to choose guardians for my two children Sarah, and Eliza Fallin. My corn, meat, and apparel, not be appraised.
